A Valentine’s Day Gift from our Pack to Yours

Today is a celebration of something we could all use a great deal more of these days-- Love. And, although I think "Valentine's Day" should be every day, it feels good to turn on the TV (the Today Show) and see "share your life with me" proposals, more smiles, more joy, laughter, unexpected surprises, kissing, hugs, hand-written notes, and other meaningful gestures💌

The pack and I just finished our morning hike, and although I don't have romantic love in my life- I have plenty of other love that I'm so incredibly grateful for. The love of (and for) my pack, this work, my faith, *this community*.... with the circumstances the way they are ( https://gofund.me/5c2456bb ; we're just over a few thousand from our goal and have exactly 2 more weeks to meet it), it's all of this that has kept me going. It's all this love that's kept me crawling out of bed in the morning ready to *create the day ahead* with a renewed sense of hope and faith (special thanks to you all), and do so with intention, openness and receptivity, and a series of "little right actions."

As a special gift from me to you, I'd like to offer you one of the meditations from our Dog Walking Meditations album (https://www.packfit.net/meditation). It's called, "Feel the Love."

This meditation is for everyone, but especially for those who may struggle with loving who they see in the mirror. Those who struggle with loving and fully accepting themselves. Those who may keep people at arm's length and who may have somehow gotten the message that love equals pain. Those who are guarded, and afraid to open themselves up to love. It's for those who've been hurt or are hurting now.

The meditation is one of our longest of the album (at 28:35 min), but for good reason.

The meditations album was created to help people get into a more grounded, centered, calmer, and more confident headspace while out walking their pups; as *how we feel* directly impacts *how they feel.*

I don't know where you are in the world, but here on the east coast in the DC area it's a beautiful 60 degrees outside. The sun is bright, the breeze is light, and it's a damn-near-perfect day for a nice, long walk with your dog. So, lace up your kicks, gear up the pup(s), and enjoy the walking meditation.
