New Patreon Supporting Responsible Rescue: Rescue Done Different
In order to continue funding this rescue effort, we've started a Patreon called "Responsible Rescue : Rescue Done Different", and is where we'll be posting the great majority of our content (educational | informational, Ava and puppies updates, insider info, processes, etc).
We still have to raise enough money to get Ava her spay, her microchip, as well as the 2nd round of vaccinations for the pups, so it's my hope this will help.
There are 7 membership tiers offering different accesses and benefits.
This new, totally unconventional, completely unorthodox, and revolutionary approach to canine rescue will support all involved: fosters, adopters, and - of course- the dogs.
Most in rescue tend to be dog lovers .. not dog understander-ers; and I can't tell you how many dogs get mislabeled, behaviors misjudged and misinterpreted, etc.
If we're working with dogs in any way - whether at a shelter, in rescue, grooming, walking, training, etc.- we've got to learn more about dog psychology and behavior. It's like working on cars without understanding how they run or work. Learning more about behavior, and all its contributing ingredients, will only allow our work will be more effective and our efforts far more meaningful.
Anyone who offers to foster or adopts any of these dogs will be getting training and coaching. Aside from helping these amazing pups in need, these people will be getting education and knowledge that'll only serve them - and the dogs who come into their lives - in the very best of ways.
Through these efforts, we'll be building exceptional health, sound behavior, and proper placement with good, committed, responsible, invested, and loving humans; while significantly reducing "returns", "rehomes", mislabels and inaccurate assessments, and stress.
I hope you'll join us on this new platform and in this new venture. I'll also be featuring some of the products I have on the website here (speaking of, we just launched a new tee shirt : "let's be better humans." | https://www.packfit.net/shop ).
It's my hope this information and these efforts will, not only find Ava and her babies amazing fosters and|or homes, but impact countless people and dogs in the very best of ways. Here's to you, here's them, and here's to everyone's healthy, joy-filled futures <3
